I’m an Austin-based editor, writer, and filmmaker working across film, television, and independent creative projects. My work has taken me from production offices and sets to the edit room, where I’ve worked on everything from syncing footage and organizing scene bins to shaping a documentary pilot as lead editor. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Creative Media Industries and run MalWoo Media LLC, the business behind my freelance work.

Editing and writing are where I spend most of my time, but I like understanding how the whole thing comes together. I enjoy finding the story in a pile of footage, working through a scene that isn’t quite landing, and figuring out the practical details that help a project move forward.

In my own work, I’m drawn to complicated characters, strange worlds, and stories that give you something to think about afterward. That curiosity carries into my photography, especially when I’m traveling. I can spend just as much time noticing a side street or an odd little detail as whatever I originally went somewhere to see.

Glad you found your way here.
